I try to keep my work organic, free from constraints, expressive and sometimes unexpected. Once the labels are placed on it, I feel it becomes boxed-in and all these things go away. I’m pretty lucky to have had a broad range of life experiences that in turn provide a unique perspective to my photographs.  If I were to describe my style, I would say it’s contemporary with classical underpinnings.  There’s plenty of literal and metaphorical play between light versus dark, order within chaos, heroes, heroins, romance and tragedy.  My goal is to be fresh and engage viewers with emotional innuendo and open connections.
